Affiliate Marketing is an online marketing way in which the affiliate earns commission for selling the products of a company. Affiliates may be individuals or a company who advertises a company's product.

Affiliates advertises a company's product in their blogs and websites. When the products are sold through the affiliate's link, he or the affiliate company is paid a certain commission for the sale.

In Affiliate Marketing, Sale of a product can be done in two ways: Firstly, One can be an affiliate to advertise and sell others products or Secondly, you can give out your products to affiliates so that they advertise for the sale of the products.

 When you join an affiliate program, you need to sign up and you will be given an 'Affiliate ID', this ID is unique for all affiliates. All the promotions you do for the company will be linked through an affiliate link.This link will contain the link to the product and your ID. So, when a buyer buys through your promotions the company will know that the sale has been done through your ID and thus you are paid.
